Who Needs Girls?!

No, all the testosterone in my house has not caused me to become a chauvinist. I'm simply stating that one does not need girls.......to have a beauty parlor/spa day. Not that I intentionally set out to make it a family thing, but, last week, Jaord & Micah saw me dying my hair red (with black streaks) & they wanted in on the action. I had a little of each color left. Micah wanted red. Jarod wanted black.

I surprised myself. Since I'm a poor lil' stay-at-home-mama, I can't afford to go to a real hair dresser. I was afraid it would look like I spilled a can of black paint on my head......in which case my back up plan was to go all black. But I did pretty well, if I do say so myself. The stripes in the back, top section of my hair were particularly difficult. I found myself standing on my tip toes to try to reach way back/up there & then realized that it didn't help much. My eyes almost got stuck, rolled halfway back in my head, trying to see what I was doing. Very stressful. I don't recommend it. I've had a few requests from friends for me to do their hair too. The answer is no. I will not, but thanks for asking. Unless you are willing to go all black if I mess up. And pay me $50. Or bring me an ice cold diet Coke. I'm on a diet, short on gas money......and have nothing else to live for (in terms of food & beverage anyway). BTW.......I went to WalMart to get the cheapo $15 haircut, lest you think that I did that myself as well. I'm not that good. I might have ended up looking like I got a little too close to helicopter propellers AND spilled a bucket of black paint on my head. Willing to risk the paint bucket look, but not the propeller accident look. So, no, I won't cut your hair either. Unless you bring me TWO diet Cokes.
