My Man's Birthday
On Justin's birthday, I made him dinner & cake. The boys all made him very heart-felt birthday cards. We dimmed the lights, lit candles, made sure everything was just right & waited for Justin to come home from work. The boys all wanted to have a "surprise" party for him. They hid in closets, behind couches & under the table. Everything was very peaceful, clean & quiet. Then Justin called & said he was working a bit late. I didn't tell the boys. When my hard-working man finally got home (& interrupted my 'quiet mommy time'), he opened up & read his cards.

Heather, I always love reading your posts, but have never commented. SO, I just wanted to say how awesome it is to hear such encouraging words about the man (men) in your life. I so enjoy hearing a Woman who lifts her Man UP, instead of tearing him down. Keep it up! I'm glad you guys had a wonderful little family party for him!!! And the pictures are so fun, as usual!

Thanks, Cheramie!!! He makes it easy to be positive. Not every woman has that! I am blessed!
i love real men. i'm glad you have one... me too.
I love this Heather... A lot. you are so right... And Jared's card made me giggle... not the cooking thing but the tv thing. :) Such great guys your life has!
I love three things about this post:
1. You didn't tell the kids. Made me laugh.
2. Jerrod's card. Made me laugh.
3. How much you love your hubbyman. Not only will you be a happily married retired couple someday swinging on your porch swing, but your boys are gonna make GREAT husbands because of the example you two set.
Thanks for the kind words, friends! xoxoxoxo
