Jarod is my little aspiring chef. He is 10. I am....29-ish. I have been cooking (some might debate this) for....a while now. Tonight, as I was making pot roast & draining some of the blood off, he chided me for (and I quote), "wasting perfectly good meat drippings, Mother!" Thank you, Alton Brown.
